This restaurant definitely took me & my partner by surprise. We drove past it many times but never thought to try it. Today we decided to give it a go and we were not disappointed at all. Service was friendly and the food was delicious. We got the Chicken Panang Curry, Chili Chicken (Dry) & Hakka noodles. Each dish was full of flavor and did not disappoint. Although the Hakka noodle was the least flavorful, it was a nice dish to have between the other two. I would recommend this spot for anyone looking for some great Hakka food
Bombay Chopstick is a beautiful restaurant that offers a unique Chinese cuisine. The ambiance of the restaurant is simply excellent, with beautifully crafted Bombay paintings and fine dining inspired by Indian and Chinese culture. As you enter the restaurant, the colors and textures of the decor are distinctly visible; the furniture is elegantly placed, the table setting is sophisticated, and the lighting is dim and romantic. It is a perfect small place for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience with family or friends. We tried the Hakka Noodles, kaopao, and Momos, and I must say, each dish was outstanding in its way. The Hakka Noodles were cooked to perfection, and the stir-fried vegetables were crunchy and well-seasoned. The spices used were well balanced and never overpowering. The dish was topped with finely cut spring onions, adding a subtle aroma and flavor. The kaopao chicken was another standout dish; the chicken was tender, and the flavors of the spices perfectly infused. The dish was mildly spiced, and the use of cashewnuts, added texture and crunchiness to the overall taste. The Momos were a standout, something we have never tried before the way they make, and it was spectacular. The Momos were incredibly delicious, with a lightly spiced vegetable filling wrapped full of minced chicken inside, served with a dipping sauce. The dish had a perfect balance of flavors, with the dipping sauce adding to the overall taste. Overall, the experience at Bombay Chopstick was splendid, with each dish being exceptional in its way. The ambiance, along with the service provided by the staff, was outstanding, making it a perfect place for a fine dining experience. In conclusion, I highly recommend Bombay Chopstick to anyone looking for an excellent dining experience. The menu is a perfect blend of Indian and Chinese cuisine, each dish being cooked to perfection, and a visually stunning ambiance, making for an unforgettable dining experience.
One of my favorite dishes from 2016 at their original location is Bombay Chicken. It was still delicious!! However, it was my first time trying the Thai Basil Fried Rice with Egg. It definitely lacked some seasoning and flavor. I will be back to try other dishes.
This is a nice place! It’s clean and the tables are nicely set up, I imagine it has a cozier atmosphere once it’s dark out. We got manchurian fried rice and the spicy crispy chicken as the main. We loved the rice, it has was not too spicy ...
Hands up if you love Hakka Chinese Food!! @bombaychopstick There is something warm and comforting about Hakka Food and I am so glad @bombaychopstick re-opened its doors in Mississauga Streetsville. The menu has a wide variety of veggie, seafood and chicken dishes to indulge in & the best part its #halal as well. My all time favourite appetizer Bombay chicken was crispy and had the right amount of glaze. I also enjoyed momos which had different filling like chicken & beef. For mains the chili chicken with sauce paired with house special fried rice were just perfect. With great variety, high quality food & elegant ambience, @bombaychop is the place to head to if you want to enjoy some great Hakka Chinese with the fam.
